Detailed Itinerary

  1. DAY 1: ARUSHA TO LAKE NATRON

    4–5 hours drive

    Drive to the dramatic rift valley at Lake Natron under Ol Doinyo Lengai volcano. Guided walk to Engaresero Waterfalls and flamingos.

  2. DAY 2: LAKE NATRON TO NORTH-CENTRAL SERENGETI

    5–6 hours rough road drive

    Traverse via Klein's Gate into Serengeti National Park. Afternoon game drive in search of resident leopards and cheetahs.

    Meals: Breakfast, Lunch Box, Dinner

  3. DAY 3: SERENGETI CENTRAL PLAINS

    Full day game drive

    Full day exploring Seronera Valley, home to the highest concentration of big cats in East Africa.

  4. DAY 4: SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO HIGHLANDS

    4 hours drive

    Morning game drive, then transfer to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with optional stop at Olduvai Gorge.

  5. DAY 5: NGORONGORO CRATER TO ARUSHA

    4 hours drive

    Descend into the crater floor for a 5-hour game drive. Return to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport.
